Description
Keder (also known as Keddar and Kedar) is a fastening solution designed to securely connect soft textiles to aluminum profile track or other fixing systems. It is widely used in applications where fabric needs to be firmly fixed and properly tensioned. Keder provides strong edge reinforcement and maintains fabric tension and flatness. Its easy to install and remove, smooth sliding into keder tracks and enhances side strength.

Structure & Composition
Keder consists of two main components:
- Core
The core is made from extruded PVC. This provides flexibility while maintaining strength and durability. - Weld
- Fabric Sleeve
The core is wrapped with a specially designed Keder fabric. The outer surface contains exposed fibers, allowing smooth sliding into an aluminum extrusion with a luff groove (keder track). The inner surface features a coating that ensures proper adhesion during high-frequency or hot-air welding.
