Torlon ball bearings are known for handling demanding conditions because they’re made from Torlon, a high-performance thermoplastic.

Torlon has one of the highest compressive strengths among polymers, so the balls resist deformation even under heavy loads. - High temperature resistance
It maintains mechanical properties at temperatures up to ~260 °C, far beyond most plastics. - Low wear and good fatigue resistance
